A Neuenhauser history

Founding family

A generation of development

To this very day, the Voshaar family has had a marked influence on the development of the Neuenhauser corporate group, which originally started out as a little company in a Neuenhauser courtyard. Hans Voshaar, a trained mechanical engineering master, first worked as a weaving fitter in the NINO textile factory in Nordhorn before becoming self-employed, having been motivated by a large client.

Tradition of vocational training

Promoting young talent, in the past and today

Paul Geerdsen was the first apprentice to join the company back in 1959. He was followed by the second apprentice, Hermann Berends, who subsequently went on to celebrate his 50th company anniversary as an employee of Neuenhauser Maschinenbau GmbH. The apprenticeship and subsequent employment of young talents has a long tradition at Neuenhauser.

The first step was taken in 1986, with the acquisition of the compressor production from the Jos L. Meyer shipyard, heralding the founding of Neuenhauser Kompressorenbau GmbH.

Company grounds Neuenhaus

A location that grows with the requirements

In order to build additional halls, Hans Voshaar moved his whole company to the street that today bears his name and back then was still called Ladestraße. In the course of the following decades, the factory area expanded more than 14-fold. Additional construction projects are already in the pipeline and mirror the great growth potential.
